Words of Radiance - Part 2...

This post is about the book Words of Radiance - Part 2. It is an exhilarating book which quickens the pace of the story. A lot of twists, turns and reveals happen in this book. Kaladin manages to learn the lashing technique. He manages to lose Syl and find her back in a new form. Shallan meanwhile, leads her double life as Veil and Shallan. The banter between her and Kaladin is hilarious to read. They manage to understand and respect each other by the end of this book. Dalinar is the focal point of this story as it is his actions that leads to the decisive battle between Alethi and the Parshendi in their new form. It takes place in the final part of the book and boy what a final part it is! The fight between Kaladin and Szeth is a spectacular one and Dalinar finally understands his true purpose and acknowledges Kaladin and Shallan as Radiants. The readers get to witness the founding of the new Knights Radiant. The interludes in this book are also interesting to read as they introduce us to a new radiant named Lift and the powers of Taravangian. The epilogue is sure to surprise everyone.
