The Racketeer

Hello friends,

The Racketeer is a book written by Mr. John Grisham whose review I have published in Goodreads (Click the link below). This is a very unique John Grisham book with a unique story that focuses on various themes such as false imprisonment, Rule 35, witness protection program & corruption of judicial system to name a few. I especially liked the protagonist Malcolm who is also the mastermind behind the heist that takes place in this story. Even though he is carrying out a heist for revenge, he makes sure that the person responsible for the murder of Judge Raymond Fawcett is brought to justice. He also demands justice for the wrongdoings of Fawcett via his heist. This book with its unique plot keeps the reader engaged but the lack of twists and turns combined with the lack of court room drama that Mr. Grisham is known for is the reason behind the 3 star rating. Hope you guys won't miss reading this book!
