Face your fear

Hello friends,

I would like to begin this post by conveying my heartfelt gratitude to all my readers whose constant attention to my posts has enabled my blog to reach a 1000 page views. It's a significant milestone for a rookie blogger such as myself and it gives me confidence to post meaningful, fun and knowledgeable articles for my beloved readers. Let's continue our wonderful journey together and looking forward to another blog milestone!!

The following post contains a short story whose ending teaches us an important life moral. Let's begin,

Once the king of Egypt and his men were caught in a storm.

Soldier: Waah, What will happen to us now? (😭😭)
King: Minister, Do something to shut this man up. I can't bear his wailing.
Minister: Guards, throw this man into the sea. That's an order!!

The guards did as told

Soldier: Helllpp!!(while drowning...)

The king surprised by his minister's orders began to question him,

King: How could you do such a cruel thing minister?
Minister: Relax sire, no harm will come to the man.

He immediately ordered the guards to haul him out of the sea and after the soldier was fished out of the water, the king asked his minister,

King: He has stopped crying!
Minister: Earlier he cried because he was afraid of the storm but after the actual terror of being in the stormy sea, he has realized how safe the ship is and how lucky he is to be onboard.
King: Ha!Ha! (😤😤) A valuable lesson learnt, minister.

So friends, I hope you enjoyed reading the story. My takeaway from this short moral story is that, if you fear something, embrace the fear and experience it head on so that you can overcome the fear by finding it's optimal solution.

What are your takeaways from this story? Kindly post it in the comments section.

See you soon with another post.
